I feel a deep sympathy for the Queen Mother, the lady with nice and freak hats, because I think she was such a brave lady and full of humour.
During the Second World War she stood with her family and the entire UK population!
She never left Buckingham Palace, even under bombing!
Her best sentence to me was pronounced when a bomb demolished a part of the Palace:
"I'm glad we've been bombed. It makes me feel I can look the East End in the face."
